While sterling silver may tarnish over time due to oxidation from exposure to air, wearing it regularly and getting it wet can actually help prevent tarnishing. For long-term storage, we recommend keeping your piece in a sealed zip bag when not in use.

Use the polishing cloth provided, and don’t worry if black residue appears - this is normal and part of removing tarnish. Once polished, rinse with warm soapy water to remove any residue before wearing.
